Personal Introduction

I am a dedicated immigration and employment law trial attorney since 2000. After graduating with honors from Loyola Law School in 2000, I have represented tens of thousands of clients and achieved successful results in the fields of Employment & Labor law as well as Immigration Law. Due to the high number of Employment & Labor law cases I have successfully litigated through to trial and appeal, and my other credentials, several Courts have certified me as class action counsel. Such certification is only given to an attorney after careful consideration of their skills, experience, and credentials. My other legal passion is Immigration Law. My most notable immigration cases involve the litigation and appeals process, which I routinely use to assist clients restore their lawful immigration status which was lost due to the negligence of their prior attorneys. Several of my immigration cases have been published by the USCIS and are now precedent law used by other attorneys to assist their clients with similar issues.

Practice Summary

I have been aggressively representing corporate and individual clients in the areas of California Employment & Labor law as well as Immigration law since 2000. I graduated with honors from Loyola Law School – Los Angeles, and gained trial experience working for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, and Horvitz & Levy LLP. In recognition of my legal skills and expertise, my peers have honored me with the designation of top rated Super Lawyerin Employment & Labor Law and Immigration Law. While working my way through college and law school, I was treated unfairly and fired for illegal reasons. Hence, I know exactly how it feels to get wrongfully terminated and to work crazy long hours without getting paid overtime wages. My experience as a mistreated employee makes me a better advocate for my clients in employment and labor law disputes – including claims for unpaid overtime and minimum wages, meal and rest break violations, unpaid vacation wages, harassment, wrongful and illegal termination, and class action lawsuits. If you feel that you were treated unfairly by your employer, chances are that you most likely were. Due to the fact that California law is designed to protect employees from employers who do not follow the strict laws, I have been very successful in not only recovering my employee clients’ unpaid overtime wages, but also additional penalties, interest, and attorney’s fees from many large company employers. Further, my aggressive Plaintiffs’ approach provides me with valuable insight that I pass down to my employer clients to minimize their risk of exposure and liability from labor law claims brought by their employees. Throughout my legal career, I have successfully achieved over $10 million in judgments after trial, court-approved class action settlements, and individual claims. While the facts of each case differ and no warranty can be made about the results in a particular case, please be rest assured that it is my priority to achieve the best possible outcomes in our clients’ cases. My other legal passion is helping countless immigration clients successfully obtain their green cards, temporary work visas, restore their immigration status, avoid deportation and file appeals. When I take an immigration case, we take it to win. Due to my effective methods and strategies as an immigration lawyer, over 95% of the cases I submit to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, U.S. Department of Labor, and the Department of State are approved.
