Personal Introduction

After working in journalism throughout college, I decided to follow my childhood ambition of becoming a lawyer. I started my legal career working for large firms, where I defended clients in an array of civil litigation cases. Eventually, however, I decided to follow my passion of becoming a trial lawyer and representing plaintiffs in cases where their rights have been violated. I now focus my practice on employment law. I approach every case as if it is going to trial; my goal is to get my clients the best results possible rather than the quickest settlement we can obtain.

Practice Summary

I am a litigation attorney focusing on employment and business litigation. In my employment practice, I represent employees, usually in single-plaintiff litigation cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, or disputes about compensation. My clients have ranged from waiters to CEOs. I also defend employees when they are accused of employment-related wrongdoing, such as misappropriation of trade secrets, unlawful competition, and breach of employment contracts. In my business litigation practice, I handle cases involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business-related conflicts.
