William Bailey, Esq.

Minneapolis, Minnesota
Personal Introduction
Bill’s experience as a baseball and hockey coach from the youth through collegiate levels has given him a unique ability to both guide clients through their case and develop winning strategies. He knows that there is no substitute for thorough preparation and hard work. Bill has experience handling all types of cases from first offense DWIs to serious felony drug cases, and even murder charges. Bill has practiced in more than 60 counties throughout the State of Minnesota and has argued before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Coaching led Bill to become experienced in evaluating situations and developing the best strategies for obtaining favorable outcomes. While the criminal court process can be a confusing and scary experience, Bill has the ability to remain calm and collected while helping his clients understand how to obtain the best possible result in their case. Bill knows that the specter of jail or prison time can be overwhelming and uses his experience and ability to relate to his clients in order to ensure the case goes as smoothly as possible. Bill became a criminal defense attorney due to his desire to guide and assist people who need help. Bill’s positive attitude and extensive knowledge of the criminal system have made him a well-respected member of the criminal defense bar, as well as among his clients and community. He has been repeatedly named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Bill was born and raised in Minnesota before going on to obtain degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice Studies from the University of North Dakota. He then went on to obtain his law degree from the University of North Dakota before returning home to Minnesota, where he has practiced as a criminal defense attorney ever since.
