Mr. Goode has a Bachelors Degree in Economics for the College of William & Mary, and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Richmond. Mr. Goode offers traditional estate planning for estates of all sizes, planning to minimize Gift Taxes and Estate Taxes, the use of Trusts to protect assets, Business Planning for small business owners, and Retirement Planning for individuals of all income levels. In the area of Elder Law, Mr. Goode will guide you through the complexities of Medicaid laws, explain the options available to pay for home health care, assisted living and nursing home costs, assist you in qualifying for these benefits, and implement a plan to protect your assets from nursing home costs. His Surrogate’s Court practice includes guardianships and other protective proceedings (Article 81 and Article 17A guardianships), and the Probate and Administration of Estates and Trusts. Mr. Goode handles both routine Probate and Administration proceedings as well as litigated matters.
