Personal Introduction
I’m the founder of Isakulov Law Group, a New York firm I started in 2025 after working at White & Case, Clifford Chance, the WTO in Geneva and the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan. I began my legal career in Uzbekistan and later earned my JD from Cardozo and LL.M. from Fordham, so I understand both the legal systems my clients come from and the one they are navigating here. What makes our practice unique is our international client base: we represent clients from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and the wider CIS region, as well as Ukraine, Turkey, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Ghana, Cuba and other countries, and we work in English, Uzbek and Russian. We handle their matters under one roof, from extraordinary ability and business visas to removal defense and personal injury cases. Our clients work directly with me, and we know how to build strong cases from evidence that comes from abroad and often in other languages.

Practice Summary
Isakulov Law Group P.C. is a boutique firm based at One World Trade Center in New York, admitted in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Our core practice is employment-based and talent-based immigration, with a focus on EB-1A, O-1A and EB-2 NIW petitions for founders, researchers, executives, artists and other professionals of extraordinary ability. We also handle L-1A intracompany transfers and new-office petitions, EB-1C multinational manager cases, H-1B, EB-5 and adjustment of status, along with RFE, NOID and I-290B responses on cases filed elsewhere. On the defense side, we represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including defensive asylum, bond hearings, motions to reopen and federal mandamus actions in district court. We also handle personal injury matters from intake through litigation, including motor vehicle, trucking, premises liability and dog bite claims, and file suit in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts when a case does not resolve pre-suit. Before founding the firm, I trained at White & Case and Clifford Chance and worked at the WTO in Geneva, with a background in international arbitration and cross-border disputes. I hold a JD from Cardozo and an LL.M. from Fordham. Our clients come largely from Uzbekistan and Central Asia, and we work in English, Uzbek and Russian.

Personal Interests & Charitable Work
Outside of client work, I am committed to giving back to the immigrant community. Our firm has taken on pro bono asylum cases before the immigration courts, representing individuals who could not otherwise afford counsel in proceedings where the stakes are often life or death. We also run free Uzbek-language educational content on immigration law through our social media, which now reaches more than 20,000 followers, to help people understand their options and avoid costly mistakes.
