Personal Introduction
Amy Oakden is an estate planning attorney serving individuals and families throughout the State of California. She believes that the purpose of estate planning is not only to help her clients pass on financial assets, but also their whole family wealth, including their values, spiritual beliefs and intellectual assets. She is passionate about educating her community on the possibilities of what could happen with no plan – or the wrong plan - in place, and helping her clients determine what plan best suits their needs in order to keep their families out of court and out of conflict. Through a holistic client-centered approach, Amy guides her clients through the process of planning for incapacity and death with the goal of building a continuing relationship as a lifelong trusted advisor. She prides herself on communicating complicated terms and ideas in such a way that makes the estate planning process easily understandable and accessible to her clients. She ensures that her clients not only leave with an effective plan in place, but that they have a strong grasp of what their plan means and how it will work when they need it. Amy graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She earned her law degree with honors in 2006 from Chapman University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in California and Texas.
