Ms. Kumar, a former Partner at a Downtown Los Angeles law firm, is a skilled lawyer with over 20 years of experience. In June 2019, Angeleno Magazine featured Ms. Kumar as one of its Power Players, an elite group of individuals in their respective industries. In September 2021, Ms. Kumar became a Trustee for the South Asian Bar Association of North America Foundation, a charitable organization supporting access to justice, legal education, research, and public interest employment in the South Asian community across the United States and Canada. She currently serves as Secretary for the Foundation. Ms. Kumar is a member of the State Bar of California, United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. A representative sample of clients she has represented include international manufacturing companies, chemical companies, school districts, government entities, grocery stores, company owned and franchised restaurants, small businesses, private schools, law firms, and insurance companies. In the past, Ms. Kumar has served on the Board of Directors for the South Asian Bar Association of Southern California as the Law Student Outreach Chair. She is currently a member of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce.
