Personal Introduction

Andrew Rapacke is a registered patent attorney and serves as Managing Partner at The Rapacke Law Group, a full-service intellectual property law firm. Andrew works with clients across a variety of industries to develop a strategic and effective approach for all their intellectual property matters. He assists individuals and top corporations with protection, prosecution, licensing, and enforcement of intellectual property rights and has extensive experience in patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution and litigation. Industries of experience include software and hardware technologies, artificial intelligence & machine learning, blockchain & web3, medical device and software as a medical device, automotive & autonomous vehicle & electric vehicle technology, aerospace/defense systems, and design patents. Andrew also has vast experience in both patent and trademark litigation including proceedings with both the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Prior to pursuing a law degree, Andrew graduated from the United States Naval Academy and went on to serve as a Naval Engineering Officer. Andrew gained invaluable experience while serving aboard several warships in support of global maritime operations and serving as a liaison officer between the U.S. and Japanese navies. Andrew is also actively involved in the startup community and local inventors clubs in Central and South Florida. He represents several startup companies including Shark Tank participants and regularly gives lectures on intellectual property matters for various organizations including Texas Medical Center Health Tech Accelerator (TMCx), The Association of University Technology Managers, Inventors Society of South Florida, and numerous inventor podcasts. He is also a regular volunteer at several veteran non-profit organizations such as the Florida Patent Pro Bono Program and is currently a Naval Academy Blue and Gold Officer for the South Florida region assisting young men and women interested in attending the United States Naval Academy.
