Personal Introduction

Avinash Ram (“Avi”) is a corporate and transactional attorney at Peak SMB, where he focuses on mergers and acquisitions and a broad range of corporate legal matters. With a strong foundation in both law and entrepreneurship, Avi brings a unique dual perspective—offering clients practical, business-minded legal guidance through every stage of a deal. Avi earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He began his career at two leading Am Law firms—one ranked in the top 30 and another in the top 100—where he advised clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations. After transitioning out of Big Law, Avi now concentrates on small business acquisitions, providing strategic and tailored advice across a variety of industries and deal structures. Having worked on dozens of transactions, he is well-equipped to handle the nuances of buying and selling businesses in the SMB space.
