Personal Introduction
Cary is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska and the federal courts of The District of Kansas and The Western District of Missouri. He is committed to helping clients get the legal help they need. Prior to opening The Smalley Law Firm, LLC in 2011 Cary worked as an attorney at a highly respected Kansas City law firm since 2005. Cary received both his undergraduate degree and law degree from The University of Kansas. During law school he was a volunteer with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) preparing tax returns for lower income individuals and also served as an officer of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity. He and his wife reside in Overland Park with their two sons and their dog. Since opening his own practice Cary is focusing his efforts on providing competent, reliable and affordable estate planning and business services for his clients. As the owner of a smaller law practice, he is able to provide strong client service and personal attention at highly competitive rates.
