Personal Introduction

Charbel is the firm's Managing Partner and the Chair of its International Arbitration practice. He is member of the New York, Paris and Beirut bars. Charbel has more than a decade of experience in international arbitration and litigation, including investor-state arbitration and international commercial arbitration in the Americas, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Charbel has acted as counsel and advisor to private parties and counsels in arbitrations before the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), ICC, UNCITRAL, and LCIA. In addition, Charbel provides legal advice to companies in complex corporate matters. In that capacity, he has represented major airlines, pharmaceutical and F&B companies in multi-million dollar restrucutrings. Charbel is fluent in Arabic, French, and English and proficient in Spanish.
