Chris specializes in franchise and corporate law, representing both franchisors and franchisees all across the country. Born in Maryland and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Chris majored in organizational leadership and business administration at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, choosing to attend the university on a baseball scholarship. Upon graduation, he returned to the DFW metroplex and attended SMU Dedman School of Law to obtain his Juris Doctorate.

Chris interned in the legal department for Jamba, an international smoothie franchise, working directly with its general counsel for issues pertaining to franchise, corporate, and trademark law. When Chris graduated, he worked as a franchise associate attorney at Mullin Law, PC, where he co-wrote an article for the Franchise Law Journal. While serving in this role, he drafted franchise documents and contracts for many large franchisors, franchisees, and entrepreneurs. Chris also at Zoe’s Kitchen, Inc., where he worked in-house for a large restaurant chain on corporate, franchise, and employment issues concerning the corporation.
