Personal Introduction

David B. Wilks has practiced law in Northern Virginia and Prince William County for more than thirty years as a tax lawyer by training and education. David has been recognized by his peers in the legal community both locally and statewide for his legal ability and high ethical standards in the legal areas in which he concentrates his practice. David has been named as one of Virginia’s “Legal Elite” by the Virginia Business Magazine in the areas of Taxes, Es­tates, Trusts and Elder Law every year since 2014. Since 2009, David also has received the ”AV Preemi­nent” rating, the highest rating given by Martindale-Hubbell®, Peer Review, for his legal ability in the fields of business, estate planning and estate and trust administration and his general ethical standards, placing David at the highest level of professional excellence in the legal areas in which David concen­trates his practice. David also is a frequent lecturer, speaking at programs not only sponsored by civic and charitable groups designed to educate the general public on legal issues within his area of concentration, but also to other attorneys, accountants and financial professionals in programs qualifying them for their required annual continuing education credit.
