Personal Introduction

My approach is rooted in my background: I was born and raised in New York City, and graduated from Oberlin College and New York University School of Law. The street smarts and ambition that come with growing up in the world’s most competitive city, combined with the unparalleled education I received at those institutions, inspire me to work relentlessly and fearlessly for my clients. I began my legal career at the preeminent Manhattan law firm Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, where I represented biotechnology companies, media companies, investment banks, and insurance companies. Subsequently, I spent almost 12 years at a boutique litigation firm where I handled disputes involving claims of copyright and trademark infringement, breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, and defamation. Clients included financial institutions, hedge funds, software-as-a-service providers, not-for-profit entities, unions, and high-net-worth individuals.

Practice Summary

I help clients who are in a dispute or facing litigation work toward what matters most to them: a resolution that enables them to move forward with their lives and businesses. My goal is to be a client's strongest, most effective advocate and partner as we resolve their dispute. My relationship with them as my client is what matters most: I will listen to them , respond to them quickly and clearly, carefully consider their thoughts and feelings and most of all, aggressively pursue their goals. I believe that cooperation and understanding are where every effort to resolve a dispute should begin. But when that doesn’t work, I zealously and forcefully advocate for my clients’ interests and objectives. I also emphasize educating my clients on how to most effectively position and comport themselves to get the resolution they want.
