Personal Introduction
Born into an immigrant family, I am personally familiar with the international founder's journey and the atypical experiences it brings. Originally on a medical profession track, I studied biomedical engineering at John Hopkins but maintained a minor in computer science as a testament to my life long love of technology. After a practical experience in the medical field that brought the realization I had no desire to practice medicine, I came back to my first love and sought a masters in computer science. This ultimately steered me to studying law with a concentration in intellectual property. I started my career at DLA Piper practicing patent litigation, before joining Dell. I conducted Dell's first global intellectual property audit taking me to 17 different countries. My time at Dell ended with overseeing the global software and peripherals division - before being recruited as special project counsel by Apple for the first Apple Watch, which included the Made for IOS ecosystem. In 2015, I took my decade of global technology law experience and launched my own practice, Lloyd & Mousilli. This path has made my practice standout from other legal professionals due to my international scope, technical knowledge and intellectual property expertise. I have the honor of being a Fulbright Specialist in the areas of Intellectual Property and Technology Commercialization. I am a native speaker of English and Arabic. I am proficient in Spanish. I am currently studying both Turkish and Russian.
