Hillel Schechter

Practice Summary

Hillel Schechter is a partner in the Corporate and Litigation Departments at Tashlik Goldwyn Levy Schechter LLP. Hillel’s practice focuses on contract, corporate, SEC and transactional matters as well as on litigation matters. I represents various privately held clients in transactional matters, both on the sale and purchase side. I regularly advises clients on corporate compliance issues as well as employee benefit matters. I also have extensive experience in representing physicians, dentists and professional groups in negotiating faculty practice and other employment and affiliation arrangements, as well as sales to private equity. In addition, I handle intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations and intellectual property assignments and licenses. Prior to joining the Firm, I was employed at KPMG and at the New York State Insurance Department. I received my J.D. from Brooklyn Law School where I graduated cum laude, was a member of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and was a recipient of the Richardson Scholarship and Judge Weinstein Scholarship. I received my undergraduate accounting degree from Yeshiva University where I was a Belkin Scholar.
