As managing partner of Cleantech Law Partners (www.cleantechlaw.com), I oversee a variety of legal matters related to renewable energy projects (solar, wind, geothermal, biogas, energy efficiency) and serve as general counsel for cleantech companies. Our clients include renewable energy project developers, cleantech companies, investors, manufacturers, and entrepreneurs. For over 15 years, we have represented many of the top renewable energy companies in the US and around the world. Representative matters include: renewable energy project structuring and finance, negotiating key project development agreements (including PPAs), federal and state regulatory matters related to the renewable energy industry, structuring renewable energy projects, drafting solar leases agreements, applications for renewable energy permits, interconnection agreements with utilities, dispute resolution, securing intellectual property rights for new clean technologies, applying for renewable energy incentive programs (including IRA), developing alternative energy projects, setting up special purpose entities for solar projects, and advising on renewable energy tax matters (including ITC).
