Jenifer's areas of expertise include employment law, general corporate law, including contract drafting and mergers and acquisitions, civil, business and probate litigation, and intellectual property, including licenses, trademarks and copyrights. She has successfully represented business clients before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Division of Unemployment Assistance, Department of Revenue, Division of Professional Licensure and Department of Labor. Jenifer regularly drafts, reviews and advises on contract related matters, including MSAs, vendor agreements, joint venture and partnership agreements. She drafts buy/sell agreements and advises business in all stages of the business life cycle, including choice of entity, owning, operating and selling. On behalf of individuals, estates, corporations, partnerships and non-profit organizations, Jenifer has successfully handled litigation involving employment claims, real estate, business contracts, partnership disputes, consumer protection, and will contests. She has successfully tried many cases before the Superior and Probate Courts in Massachusetts, and argued before the Appeals Court several times. She has also practiced before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Jenifer also successfully resolves disputes through negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Jenifer was named to Super Lawyers® in 2023. Jenifer was selected as a 40 under 40 Awardee by South Shore Stars, which is an award given to emerging leaders on the South Shore who are under 40.

Personal Interests & Charitable Work
Jenifer currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors at the South Shore Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Trustees at Cardinal Spellman High School. She is also active in political campaigns, including as Treasurer for a State Representative’s campaign committee. Jenifer lives in East Bridgewater with her husband, Brian, and their two children, Braden and Makenna. She spends most of her time in hockey rinks and at baseball fields on the weekends watching her children participate in extracurricular activities. She is a committed Boston sports fan, and loves watching and attending games. She is a former gymnast and professional cheerleader and brings the same level of enthusiasm and commitment to her legal work.
