Personal Introduction
I didn’t start my career the way most attorneys did. I spent four of my 24 years as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for one of Arizona’s largest subcontracting operations — sitting in the owner’s chair, managing crews, and dealing with the business consequences of litigation from the inside out. That experience changed the way I practice law. When a contractor calls me about a construction dispute, I understand the operational reality behind it — not just the legal exposure. When an injured worker comes to me after a job site accident, I know how those projects are run and where the accountability lies. And when I’m negotiating a serious injury settlement, I know how carriers think, because I’ve spent years on their side of the table too. I also own a lien services company in Arizona, so mechanic’s lien law isn’t just something I studied — it’s something I work with every day. My practice focuses on serious injury and wrongful death, complex construction disputes, and insurance coverage matters. I’m licensed in Arizona and Washington and handle matters in both states through Guerrero Huff Law Group. If you have a client with a significant injury, a construction matter gone sideways, or a coverage dispute that needs someone who understands the business — not just the law — I’d welcome the referral.

Practice Summary
Jared Scarbrough is a litigation partner at Guerrero Huff Law Group with 24 years of experience representing clients in serious personal injury, wrongful death, construction law, and insurance matters across Arizona and beyond. What sets Jared apart from most attorneys in his referral network is a career built on both sides of the courtroom — and inside the industries he litigates. Before returning to full-time practice, Jared served as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for one of Arizona’s largest subcontractor groups, giving him an insider’s understanding of how construction companies are run, how projects are bid and managed, and how decisions get made in the field. That operational experience directly informs the way he builds cases — whether he’s prosecuting a serious injury claim or navigating a complex construction dispute. Jared also owns Lien Pro, LLC, an Arizona-based lien services company, making him one of the few attorneys in the state with hands-on operational expertise in mechanic’s lien law — not just courtroom familiarity with it. Jared accepts referrals in the following areas: • Serious Personal Injury & Wrongful Death — Construction site injuries, auto and trucking accidents, premises liability, and catastrophic injury claims. Jared has recovered millions of dollars for injured workers, accident victims, and families. His years defending these same case types for carriers gives him a precise understanding of how to maximize recovery. • Construction Law — Complex defect litigation, contract disputes, mechanic’s lien actions, ROC proceedings, subcontractor and owner representation, and insurance coverage disputes arising from construction matters. • Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith — First-party and third-party coverage disputes, bad faith claims, and coverage analysis for construction and general liability matters. • Commercial Litigation — Business disputes, contract enforcement, and corporate litigation for contractors, owners, and business clients. Guerrero Huff Law Group is based in Chandler, Arizona, with a physical office presence in Washington state. Jared is licensed in Arizona and Washington and is available to discuss referrals directly. Clients referred through Overture will receive the same level of attention and advocacy as any client who walks through the door.
