Personal Interests & Charitable Work

Born and raised in Louisiana, I believe in our culture of community and support for one another that runs deep in our great state! I have been and continue to be involved locally in the bar and community activities, including: *founder and current Chairman of the Baton Rouge Bar Association Veterans Day Committee; *Board Member of Association of the United States Army - New Orleans Chapter, and founder and current Chairman of its scholarship committee; *guest speaker many times at the LSU Law School Professionalism Orientation Program sponsored by the Louisiana State Bar Association; *former Louisiana Assistant Bar Examiner for Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure; and *judge for the Moot Court and Mock Trial Competitions for Southern University Law Center, LSU Law School and local high schools. My firm team members and I pick charities to support each year, including donating funds to combat cancer, cystic fibrosis, and multiple sclerosis.
