Joseph is based in Austin, Texas, and his current scope of practice is business and immigration law. ‍ Joseph has almost a decade of high quality legal experience helping his clients. Joseph has worked for the New York and Seattle offices of two nationally-ranked major law firms, as well as smaller boutique law firms. Earlier in Joseph's career, he worked overseas at the Shanghai, China office of a major law firm where Joseph was part of the capital markets team and advised international clients on large value transnational business transactions (outbound and inbound investment), in addition to carrying out research on employment and business immigration. Joseph is highly experienced in counseling his clients on a wide range of business and immigration matters, including investment planning, transaction structuring, contract drafting; as well as applications for nonimmigrant visas, immigrant visas, permanent residence, and US citizenship. Joseph routinely provides practical solutions and strategies for his clients, and he is proactive in keeping clients informed of changes in relevant laws and regulations. ‍ Joseph received a B.B.A. degree in Business Information Systems and a B.A. degree in English, summa cum laude, from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Joseph studied Chinese to the advanced-level at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. Joseph received a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, where Joseph served in the Immigration Clinic (regular and advanced-level). Joseph was ranked as a Top 50 Attorney of Austin by Attorney Intel in 2022. Joseph is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
