Personal Introduction

I believe that I bring a balanced perspective to the practice of law. I strive to be both empathetic and zealous. I love technology but accept that many old systems and practices still hold real value. Our clients are our partners; we take great pride in understanding their perspectives, building relationships with them, and protecting their interests. I try hard to be the voice of reason both to the courts, opposing counsels, and at times, my own clients. Most cases should and eventually do resolve, but those that can't should be tried, and I am willing and able to service clients at every level of their legal journey from start to finish.

Practice Summary

Practice dedicated almost exclusively to commercial litigation. Key areas include contracts, construction, real estate, employment, soft IP (copyright & TM), collections, partnership disputes, consumer protection (deceptive trade practices and fraud), outside general counsel, other niche commercial practices (e.g., class action defense, ADA website defense). Dozens of jury and bench trials in both state and federal court (NY and TX).
