Personal Introduction
Liliya was born in Moshny, Ukraine, but spent most of her childhood in Burundi, where her father worked as a medical doctor with the Organization of the United Nations. Liliya graduated with honors from Moshny High School and earned her Master’s Degree in International and European Business Law from the University of Social Sciences in Toulouse, France. She also completed an internship with the United Nation Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Bujumbura, Burundi in 2003. After moving to the United States, Liliya worked as a litigation paralegal for a prominent personal injury firm where she handled a high volume of cases, such as tractor trailer accidents, catastrophic brain injuries, wrongful death and premises liability. During her time as a paralegal, Liliya developed a passion for helping people and decided to pursue her career as a lawyer. Liliya speaks Ukrainian, Russian and French.
