After my service in the U.S. Army, I earned my law degree (J.D.) from the Northwestern University School of Law. I have been a Partner at a large Chicago law firm and Chief Patent Counsel at a leading peripheral vascular and neurovascular medical device manufacturer. I concentrate my practice in patent prosecution and transactional matters. I have represented individuals, small corporations, and large corporations in patent and trade secret matters. I have also assisted clients with licensing rights to intellectual property. My experience in IP law has been diverse - representing clients in medical device technologies, software and internet-based technologies, manufacturing technologies, consumer products, financial exchange trading technologies, banking transaction technologies, gasoline pumping technologies, and cell phone communication and broadcast technologies.
