Personal Introduction

I believe in explaining the law to my clients in a way that puts them in the driver's seat... through informed, thoughtful estate planning. Being included in the most important events of my clients' lives; new family members, couples parting ways, the loss of loved ones, enables me to form relationships and bring peace of mind.

Practice Summary

My estate planning practice focuses on the belief that legacy is about much more than money... legacy is about one's memories, values, family traditions... and being abble to assist my clients in passing those on to future generations. Probate/estate administration is rewarding because I am able to assist with the most difficult times in the life of a family, solve problems and provide closure.

Personal Interests & Charitable Work

I pride myself on never leaving a client without the documents that I consider critical to their estate plans. My charitable work consists of providing at least thirty (30) hours per year of pro bono estate planning to those who truly cannot afford the services of an attorney. As the mother of a special needs child, I understand the need for this type of estate planning, and have documented my journey with my internationally adopted child through an award winning memoir, When the Bough Breaks.

What is Overture?

Overture is an attorney-to-attorney referral network. Vetted attorneys refer matters they can’t take on to trusted colleagues and earn fee splits when they do, expanding what every attorney can offer their clients.
