She graduated from Southern University Law Center in 2010, and became licensed to practice in both State and Federal Courts shortly thereafter. Personal Interests & Charitable Work

Ms. Hazey is very active in the Baton Rouge Bar Association serving the Family Law Section as the current Chair. In addition, Nicole makes it a priority to donate her free time to cases referred by the Baton Rouge Bar Foundation and Southern University Law Center by returning throughout the year to assist in judging Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions for future attorneys. Her family is active and committed to helping children in foster care in the Greater Baton Rouge area, as she recently finalized the adoption of a son through the Foster Care System. Ms. Hazey and her family are active members of B’nai Israel Congregation of Baton Rouge. She resides in Baton Rouge with her husband and two young sons.
