Raffi Avetisyan

Personal Introduction

Raffi is an attorney at HVM Law with a profound understanding of corporate, international tax, and M&A tax matters. Before joining HVM Law, Raffi worked in the tax industry at leading firms such as PwC and HCVT. While at PwC, Raffi worked on the international tax team and serviced a wide spectrum of clients including alternative investment managers (PE funds, credit funds, real estate, etc.), foreign sovereign entities, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, etc. Subsequently, Raffi transitioned to HCVT and worked at its renowned M&A tax practice. In this role, he was a strategic counsel to clients engaged in complex mergers and acquisitions, offering tailored tax solutions to mitigate risk and ensure efficient and compliant structures. Raffi holds a law degree and an LL.M. in taxation from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
