Personal Interests & Charitable Work

Robert is a founding member of the Public Interest Advocacy Collaborative, a nonprofit organization composed of attorneys who are committed to expanding access to the law through education and outreach. PIAC is an education-focused organization that conceives of and hosts MCLE and non-credit seminars for attorneys and members of the public on issues affecting populations traditionally under-served by the typical “downtown” attorney. PIAC also assists other non-profits with legal analysis and government/public outreach on a variety of issues including refugee rights, homelessness, and tax reform. I am also the Co-Editor of The PIAC Blog which publishes in-depth analyses of issues affecting the public interest, such as, government, energy, the media, civil rights, gun regulation, voting rights, and many more.
