Before my career in law, I was an accomplished watercolor artist with over 35 international exhibitions and works displayed in museums. Painting remains my favorite way to unwind and stimulate creativity. I also take pleasure in cooking and baking, especially when it involves inventing new recipes. There's nothing I enjoy more than gathering people for a delightful meal and engaging conversations. My commitment to giving back is a significant part of who I am. I founded the International Oral Cancer Society (also known as Fight Oral Cancer), established an endowment to support young artists and designers at the University of North Texas, and have served on various nonprofit boards.
