Personal Introduction

The Law Offices of Shannon Harvey, P. A., est. 2007, was established after multiple years of its owner, Shannon Harvey, serving as In-House Counsel to a prominent healthcare/nursing home management company. Such position served as a foundation for her office to now assist with other corporate clients' needs, while it also enabled a deep understanding of elder law issues. Compassionate legal services are provided to families facing probate, guardianship and other difficult life changes. After rigorous security clearance, the Law Offices of Shannon Harvey, P.A. was selected by the U.S. Department of Justice to serve as Private Counsel for the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division, Southern District of Florida from 2011- 2014. Civil lawsuits were filed on behalf of United States, as Plaintiff, and a large volume of Judgments in favor of the U.S. were secured. In addition to probate administration and guardianship, our office will accept a small batch of trademark, copyrights, entertainment law, and breach of contract cases. We are licensed in both New York and Florida. We have represented clients in the film, modeling, nightlife and sound production industries and successfully secured settlements on their behalf. Copyright infringement, trademark registration, film investment disputes, defamation, and publicity rights matters have been handled. Shannon's legal guidance helped enable the first annual "Hollywood Florida Film Festival" to be established 2016 and continue each year.
