Personal Introduction

I have represented hundreds and hundreds of homeowners in every type of dispute with their home builders, general contractors, pool contractors, solar contractors, architects, engineers, and so on. We have seen it all: unlicensed contracting, liens, abandoned projects, stolen money, horrendous work, “bully” contractors, work done without permits, construction defects etc., etc., etc. Most contractors are good people who want to do the job right. However, homeowners are always at a disadvantage in their relationships with contractors because the average homeowner knows nothing about construction laws. Homeowners do not know how to vet and hire contractors and rarely sign a contract that protects them (if they sign one at all). As a result, contractors constantly take advantage of homeowners. And homeowners make their bad situations worse by trying to resolve contractor issues without professional advice and guidance. I built this firm with a mission to represent as many homeowners as possible before, during, and after major home construction projects. I take great pride in creating solutions for almost any home construction scenario.
