Personal Introduction

Cassie assists individuals and families with estate planning (Wills/Trusts) and bankruptcy. Cassie is proud to help individuals and families protect their assets while providing debt relief. Cassie enjoys the opportunity to meet with potential clients during the consultation to educate them on the bankruptcy process and explore whether bankruptcy is the best solution to their particular circumstances. She understands everyone is facing a different situation and talking through how bankruptcy can help or not is essential for people to make an educated decision regarding their finances. Cassie realizes many people coming into her office are not familiar with bankruptcy so she always walks people through the basics and then gets into the specifics relevant to each consultation. You will leave the consultation with the information on how to move forward. Here is the number one comment I hear the most at the end of my consultations. Schedule your consultation. When a consultation transitions to a case, Cassie ensures her clients are kept well informed and comfortable as the process progresses. She always welcomes direct contact with clients through calls or emails. She understands filing bankruptcy is a difficult decision and treats her clients with respect throughout the entire process. Cassie’s favorite aspect of practicing bankruptcy law is the connection to people. She knows everyone has a story to tell and she appreciates people placing their trust in her as they convey that story. She is always struck by how brave and strong people are in the face of difficult and stressful circumstances. She understands life happens to good people and is grateful she is able to help individuals and families look to brighter futures. She enjoys practicing in an area where she is truly helping people and they are grateful for her assistance. She is proud to provide sound legal advice to improve her clients’ lives. She also appreciates the practice of law for its intricacies and changing nature. She likes working the puzzles of cases to ensure her clients are receiving the greatest benefits allowed under the law while maintaining integrity throughout the process. Cassie is licensed to file bankruptcy cases in the Kansas City metro area federal courts of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri.
