Private Money Lending: Practice covers a broad range of real property litigation, including representation of private money lenders, loan servicers and foreclosure trustees in mortgage and foreclosure-related civil litigation, construction lending and funds control litigation, title and liability insurance claims, title curative actions, judicial foreclosure, federal civil and criminal forfeiture claims, consumer compliance, federal and state agency subpoena and audit responses, personal guaranty enforcement, judgment collection and other legal matters involving private money lenders, mortgage loan brokers, real estate agents and brokers. Conventional Lending: Practice covers a broad range of financial services litigation, including representation of mortgage lenders, loan servicers and foreclosure trustees in mortgage and foreclosure-related civil litigation defense, adversarial proceedings, title curative actions, asset-forfeiture proceedings, collections, judicial foreclosure and receivership cases, administrative proceedings, surplus funds distribution and recovery, federal and state regulatory compliance and other legal matters involving mortgage banking and default servicing. Real Estate: Practice includes negotiating and preparing general real estate, commercial office and retail leasing and construction law transactions; actions to quiet title, reformation and cancellation of instruments relating to defects in title, nuisance abatement, violation of zoning ordinances and conditional use permits, mechanic’s lien foreclosure, and premises liability. Commercial Transactions: Practices includes negotiating, drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial, technology development and licensing agreements to protect company interests, including distribution, supply, purchase, license and confidentiality agreements, as well as, advising and educating all levels of client group personnel on risk management and legal compliance.
