Personal Interests & Charitable Work
Jeremy is a family man. He and Kat have been married for 21 years and have three children, two sons (ages 20 and 17) and one daughter (age 14). Jeremy is a BYU sports fan and also really enjoys supporting the local high school football team and marching band. He likes reading, writing, going on walks, and spending time with his family. He likes to cook, but almost never uses a recipe so any meal he prepares is a delicious one-time experience. Jeremy was born and raised in Idaho, educated in Utah (B.S.) and Texas (J.D., M.S.), and has lived all over Texas for about 18 years. As a young adult Jeremy was a volunteer in Mexico for about 2 years, where he learned to speak Spanish. He even taught Spanish while he attended college. Jeremy actively serves in his community and local church leadership. He enjoys studying the ancient history of religion. Something unique about Jeremy is that he dusted off a long-time interest in art a few years ago and started painting.
