Practice Summary

As an appellate attorney, I bring a unique perspective to the table. I've worked across various fields of law, from matrimonial to real estate litigation, and have consistently leveraged my breadth of experience to strengthen my clients' cases. Whether it's drafting a persuasive motion or providing strategic counsel, I am dedicated to helping attorneys achieve favorable outcomes. Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of handling cases before prestigious courts such as all four Departments of New York’s Appellate Division, New York’s Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. With my name appearing on over 100 published appellate opinions, I've cultivated a deep understanding of diverse legal principles that transcend specific practice areas. I am a seasoned appellate attorney with a passion for analyzing the law and helping litigators advocate for clients in complex civil matters. While my legal career began in the trenches of litigation, attending discovery conferences and preparing disclosures, I quickly gravitated towards the realm of motions and appellate briefs where I could delve into legal analysis and strive to make the law work as intended. My career path has taken me from serving as a litigation associate at one of Long Island’s largest law firms to leading the appellate unit and later becoming a partner at a boutique firm specializing in appeals and litigation strategy. Alongside my practice, I've been actively involved in legal committees, including serving as a Reporter for the New York State Committee on Pattern Jury Instructions (Civil) and as a member of the NYSBA’s CPLR Committee and the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Committee.
