Personal Introduction
Tom has been practicing as a civil litigation attorney since 2016, developing expertise in the field of complex commercial and business litigation, while gaining experience in trials, depositions, and all forms of discovery and motion practice. Tom earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Marketing and Finance from the University of San Diego in 2008. Upon graduation, he served in the Peace Corps in Kazakhstan from 2009-2011, where he organized and provided training to hundreds of local English teachers on modern English teaching techniques, taught English to children ranging in age from 6 to 18, and planned and executed various community development projects. During his time in the Peace Corps, Mr. Yacko formed Kazakhstan’s first ever baseball league, became fluent in Russian and was recognized as an exemplary Peace Corps member. He then attended law school at Chapman University School of Law, clerking for a Federal Bankruptcy Judge, the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, for two years. In 2015, he graduated near the top of his class and began working at a Civil Litigation firm based in Orange County, California. He is currently a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California.

When he is not working, Mr. Yacko enjoys playing golf, fishing, and generally anything outdoors, and spending quality time with his family and loved ones.
